Cake is a New York based painter and street artist. As a painter, Cake uses human anatomy, in all its guts and glory, to describe the intricate relationship structures people have with themselves and others. She is attracted to how pain, confusion, loss, shame and strength reveals itself through people's posture, actions and expressions. Through her work she hopes to create channels with which to connect with people in an authentic way.
Easter is always special and magical so we have decided to add some extra bling to the festive mood and partnered with our friends from Frencho bistro Oui Madame for a mini Joe Webb collage show (18 April -30 May).
Known for his quirky and delicate hand-cut collage pieces, Joe has stayed true to the texture and feeling of collage by using real collaged elements in the silkscreens as well as embossing and glazing.
