Red Saunders Red Saunders

Red Saunders combines his photographic work with cultural, political, musical activism. He was a founder member and activist with the Rock Against Racism campaign from 1976 onwards as well as a former member of the 60's underground theatre group CAST. Red Saunders made his name as a contributor for The Sunday Times Magazine, for which he worked for nearly two decades, and had a long career as a commercial photographer working for Rolling Stone, GQ, Time, Life and Conde Nast magazines. He had numerous solo exhibitions and group shows, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2014.
