Delphine Lebourgeois in NFS
'Need for Speed Heat',
the latest game in the long-running
NFS franchise, arrives on November 8th and features Delphine Lebourgeois'
beautiful illustrations as street art pieces gracing the games' virtual world. For the non-gamers out there, Need for Speed is a racing video game
created by Ghost Games and published by EA Games.
This edition celebrates the 25th anniversary of the now classic video game franchise.
The images born out of this collaboration are quite striking and we can't get enough - have a look...
"When I met Henry (La Bounta) back last March, he was very discreet about the game so I didn't know what to expect. I didn't even know it was such a big franchise at the time. It's only later on when we agreed on the artworks that the name of the game popped up" says
Delphine on how it all began.
Boom!, 2016, Pen, ink and watercolour on paper.
Whatever, 2019, Inkjet print with varnish overlay on paper.
"The experience of seeing your artworks in such a different way and at such a large scale is brilliant (I have a soft spot for the gigantic Amazonians!) The designers at Ghost Games did a stunning job on the visuals and were lovely to work with. I'm really thrilled by it and can't wait to see the full game next month."
Amazonian I, 2018, Giclée print on paper.
Black Blue, 2018, Giclée print on paper.
We are in love and can't wait to see the final product next month. Until then you can view more artworks by Delphine Lebourgeois by clicking here. Don't hesitate to get in touch for further information.
