The Connor Brothers x Bonham's for CALM

As official ambassadors for CALM, the UK's leading suicide prevention movement, The Connor Brothers have raised thousands of pounds by taking part in various talks, events and fundraisers throughout the country to continue the important discussion around mental health, male suicide, masculinity and art as therapy.

I Don't Want to Go to Heaven - Artis Proof, signed and numbered by the artists.

And this September they have done at it again, joining forces with Bonham's to auction new exclusive work in aid of CALM.

On September 19th the artists auctioned off 12 unique prints, representing the 12 men who take their own lives every day in the UK along an exclusive print, limited to a run of 30, specially created for the auction.

All the editions sold, raising a staggering £80,000 to aid CALM and their life-saving work.
The exclusive edition released on the preview night: I Drink, giclée print with silkscreen varnish, edition of 30.

We had the pleasure of attending the auction and can report the auction room was immediately buzzing when it came to The Connor Brothers' lots. T heir unique edition of 'Every Saint Has A Past and Every Sinner Has A Future' completely smashed its £500-700 estimate, achieving an incredible £25,060. Some more of their most note-worthy results include the 'Normal Is the Cruelest of All Insults' which sold for £20,060 and 'Those Who Say It Cannot Be Done' for £13,810.  Incredible results for the artists and for such an important cause.

On the 16th of September Bonham's held an evening drinks reception and preview of the print sale, during which The Connor Brothers participated in a panel discussion exploring art, expression and mental health and spoke about their work with CALM.

The evening and talk was also a great success. The Connor Brothers' booth was constantly full and the limited edition, released on the night, sold-out instantly.
