London buzzes with Frieze, amazing auction results and a Banksy unveiling

Phew! What a week. London has been buzzing while hosting one of the biggest art fairs: Frieze. Pulling over 170 contemporary galleries from all over the world, we are spoilt for choice with great work from Basquiat to KAWS, we weren't disappointed...

Sotheby's Contemporary Art Evening Auction: Banksy

On the 5 October, Banksy Tesco Value Soup Can Canvas broke the estimation of £200,000 - £300,000 and sold for £392,750!

Phillips - 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale: The Connor Brothers

On the same day as Sotheby's auction, The Connor Brothers Tell Me Beautiful Untrue Things estimated £5,000 - £7,000 with the hammer price of an amazing £13,750!

Banksy Snorting Copper Unveiled in Shoreditch, London

On Thursday 5 October, Banksy's Snorting Copper was unveiled to a select few in Shoreditch. The lost piece of street art history has been resurrected nearly 10 years after it appeared. Hamilton Court Development bought the building that the Snorting Copper resided. We had eyes on the ground at the exclusive event... Oh and special guest appearance from the Mayor of Hackney!

Christies Post-War and Contemporary evening Auction on Saturday 6th October - Basquiat's Red Skull realised price was a whopping £16,546,25! Yes please...
