David Shrigley: Exhibition of Old Rope

“The work exists because I’m interested in the value people place on art, and the idiom gave me an excuse to explore that. I think £1 million is a fair price, partly because of the idea and partly because it is quite a lot of rope.” - David Shrigley

On show at Stephen Friedman Gallery until 20th December 2025.

'House of Music' at the Serpentine Gallery

“Music has often influenced my paintings. Songs can be very visual. I’m interested in what they conjure, and I’ve tried over the years to make paintings that are imagistic and atmospheric in the way music can be,” says Peter Doig.

This exhibition was one of the most well-received shows of 2025.

Throughout 2025, Doig's original works have consistently sold well at auction. Notebly Ski Jacket 1994, sold for £14,270,000 at Christie's London - 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale on 15 October 2025.
