Born and based in London, Rusty is a graduate of Chelsea College of Art, where she honed her skills in Textile Design—a discipline that deeply influences her textured and expressive painting style.
This unique approach allows her to explore the female gaze through vibrant, gestural nudes and portraits.
Raised among intriguing objects and art, and inspired by her painter grandfather from the Royal College of Art, Rusty’s passion for the arts came naturally. Her early fascination with weaving fine art into textiles has evolved into a dynamic, painterly exploration.
