I wanted to let you know that we currently have David Hockney’s Untitled No. 516 iPad Drawing available to view at the gallery. Challenging traditional ideas of painting, Hockney brought digital editions to the forefront of contemporary art, with numerous museum exhibitions dedicated to showcasing these innovative works.
I have worked closely with the vendor to secure the piece at £47,000, unframed and in excellent condition. As a comparison, another example of Untitled No. 516 sold for £49,020 at Phillips, London, on 18 September 2025.
Since then, the market for Hockney’s iPad works has continued to strengthen, making the current offer price especially attractive. At £47,000, this allows a collector to acquire the work below the latest published auction result for this image, while avoiding the uncertainty and additional costs of buying at auction.
Given the continued momentum behind Hockney’s market, I think this is a well-timed opportunity to secure a strong example from the series at a competitive level.
