We’re pleased to present you with two Andy Warhol screenprints from his Cowboys and Indians series: Sitting Bull (F. & S. II. 376) and Mother And Child (F. & S. II.383).
Through this series, Warhol explores themes of American history, cultural stereotypes, and the mythology of the American West. He invites viewers to question the narratives and stereotypes perpetuated in the portrayal of cowboys and Native Americans, urging them to consider the layers of meaning and historical context behind these images.
We are offering this work privately to a select group of collectors before its public release.
Please let me know if you’d like further details or images and I will be very happy to help.
Best wishes,
