Both works are in excellent condition and are from small editions of just 120 and 80 respectively.

Thinking Pumpkin is an unusually large example of one of Kusama's pumpkin screenprints measuring at 65 x 54 cm.

Pumpkins are positive images to Kusama because they represent a cheerful piece of her troubled childhood. As a young girl, Kusama spent hours drawing pumpkins. To her, pumpkins are representative of stability, comfort, and modesty.
