The past two weeks of auctions collectively suggest a resilient art market with strong performances in both established and emerging artist categories. It would be fair to say that holding an international art auction during a global geopolitical crisis would be a challenge, but despite this, there were some great results.

Notable sales include Tracey Emin's This Is Another Place neon, Francis Bacon's Portrait of Man with Glasses III and René Magritte’s La Reconnaissance Infinite.

Additionally, a rare Banksy painting titled "Crude Oil (Vettriano)," owned by Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, is set to be auctioned at Sotheby's in London. The artwork has an estimated price of up to $6.35 million.
