A new Motherpiece size — launching Saturday 31 January

We are pleased to announce the exclusive release of a new Motherpiece size of Norman by Mark Vessey, launching Saturday 31 January, exclusively with Hang-Up Gallery.

First released in 2018, Norman is now available in this newly introduced format, produced in a limited small-run edition.

This release coincides with a special feature in Financial Times HTSI this weekend, including an in-depth interview between Mark and Norman, exploring their distinct creative backgrounds and the evolution of their collaborative relationship.

The image itself was the result of months of close collaboration. Together, Mark and Norman distilled Norman’s vast record archive into a single, deeply personal composition. Albums that shaped him, records he sampled or created, and pieces connected to defining moments in his life. The work is as much about storytelling as it is about image-making.
