August is traditionally quieter, but this year still brought flashes of momentum. Banksy’s editions performed strongly, Warhol’s market presence was reinforced with a Sotheby’s headline preview, and London hosted standout institutional programming from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and Yoshitomo Nara at the Hayward Gallery.
