Alert is the very first print created by Invader back in 2001. With an edition of 100 prints, it was published to coincide with his exhibition in Japan "I invade Tokyo, And-a, Osaka". This was printed in the Red version only and showcased the artist's creative vision to the world.

The print design is inspired by the early Macintosh system bitmap icons created by Susan Kare in 1984, at a time when computer viruses were rampant.
