Some of our favourite artists are having major shows this year and we have gone through the almost impossible task to select five we think you should add to your calendar. You might need to book flight tickets to visit some of them but it's definitely worth it!

Posh Cloths brings together a body of work that spans the last eight years. Tapestry and textiles have been a constant method of communication throughout Perry's career that has allowed the exploration of core themes such as classical myths, religion, politics and consumerism.

Coinciding with this show, Victoria Miro is also holding a Grayson Perry Exhibition in Venice.

It seems 2023 will be a busy year for David Hockney with shows in the UK, Germany and Tokyo.

Bigger & Closer (Not Smaller and Further away) has just opened at the Lightroom in Kings Cross, London and has been a smash. This immersive experience allows you to be drawn into Hockney's paintings that have been pivotal in his road to success and span his 60-year career.

Later this year the Factory International in Manchester, you will be able to have an immersive experience celebrating three decades of Yayoi Kusama's inflatable artworks. Think pumpkins, tentacles, psychedelic creations and, of course, polka dots.

Described as an international blockbuster exhibition, Pop Masters brings together the icons from New York to paint a picture of Pop Art over the past 60 years.

Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol and Kieth Haring will remain the poster boys of this exhibition however, it will also feature works from Katherine Bernhardt, Mickalane Thomas, KAWS and more.

This is the American visual artist's first solo exhibition in New York since Style Variations in March 2021. Comprising of 16 large-scale works that focus on the convergence of film, TV and media. His works refer to the different stages of film-making.

From close-up shots, billboards, trailers and story-boarding, Adams has made his name in depicting African culture and beaming light on joy, leisure and daily life.
