Published last year by Heni Editions, Damien Hirst's 'The Empresses' is a new exploration of the butterfly as a symbol of freedom, religion, life and death. The series consists of five laminated giclée prints on aluminium composite, screen printed with glitter, each depicting red and black butterfly wings arranged in a unique kaleidoscope-like pattern. The patterns of the wings appear to transform, capturing the butterflies in moments of directional flight.

Tracey Emin – Curled Up

"You’ve got more female artists now, who have much higher profiles. But that’s only been over the past 50 years, so we need another 150 years to get the same situation and it’ll be equal for men and women in the art world." – Tracey Emin, Stylist.co.uk, 2015

Marc Quinn – The Creation of History (Athens, 6 December 2009)
This print is derived from a tapestry that was featured at Marc Quinn's inaugural solo exhibit in Berlin in 2015. The exhibit delved into the theme of conflict and its portrayal in mass media. Quinn's fascination with how images take on a life of their own when widely disseminated is evident in his tapestries, which subvert the conventional approach to historical paintings by depicting grassroots uprisings that are laid on the ground and gradually eroded over time.
