Marc Quinn

One of the key players in the British art boom of the 1990s, Quinn made his name with 'Self', a frozen sculpture of his own head, made with ten pints of his blood and exhibited in Saatchi’s renowned 1997 exhibition, Sensation (he now recasts his head at five-year intervals).
