Grayson Perry

Cross-dressing national treasure Grayson Perry is known for his ceramics and tapestries exploring identity, which won him the Turner Prize in 2003. Alongside his alter-ego Claire, he continues to break boundaries – most recently with the 2019 exhibition Super Rich Interior Decoration, which included a ceramic lamp covered in photographs by Martin Parr and titled ‘Money On Holiday’, and vase emblazoned with a ‘Vote Tory’ slogan. He is currently chancellor at the University of Arts London.
