Justin Bieber provoked controversy back in 2014, when he displayed a tattoo inspired by this work on his Instagram page. A few years later, Banksy created some controversy of his own, shredding the original live at a Sotheby’s auction in a now infamous stunt. The artist would go on to produce a Shredded T-shirt with the image on the front as part of his Gross Domestic Product exhibition.
