This image was first displayed at the 2003 exhibition Turf war, but Banksy has created a handful of unique versions of the work, depicting Madonna-like women feeding their babies with poison as targets appear above their heads, fighter jets race below or bullets scatter across the page. The prints dispense with the military imagery to create a pared down work that references Renaissance religious imagery, with the bottle adding a contemporary touch. Editions with blue and hot pink backgrounds are rare, while the red background is extremely hard to find – only four artists' proofs were made.

The most famously anonymous artist in the world, Banksy made the front pages when he auto-shredded Girl With Balloon during a 2018 Sotheby's auction. Known for his thought-provoking social commentary, Banksy's varied works include the Walled Off Hotel (with its view of the West Bank barrier), cover art for Blur's Think Tank album, and a gigantic graffiti piece about Brexit, in the UK port of Dover.
