A 2013 version of this work on Phillip Lane, Tottenham, was cut out of a wall and sold to raise money for a Haringey children's charity, creating controversy in the community who had regarded it as a local landmark. In an ironic twist, the local council removed all of the actual 'No Ball Games' signs from the borough in 2016 as part of an obesity initiative promoting sport among children.
