The Banksy 'Nola' is one of the most sought after and collectable Banksy images to date. The White Rain edition recently sold for over £118k at Christie's online auction which is a record result for this work. The powerful image refers to the catastrophic New Orleans (also called NOLA) flood caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The original painting first appeared in 2008 in the streets of Louisiana during Banksy's residency in which he painted over 14 murals across the state. The NOLA is the only original remaining.
