Bernhardt began painting the Pink Panther after she arrived at the Pink Palace Hotel located on a sandy beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. Everything was pink. From the bed sheets to the pink sunsets and Pink Panther on the TV screens. Bernhardt decided that Pink Panther would look great in a large scale format.
