Tim Fishlock – BEBOP
No idea where I read these words but they’re a lovely assemblage and bring to mind lots of different artists. I guess they lend themselves well to describing glitch, a genre of music distinguished by an ‘aesthetic of failure’ – the deliberate use of distorting effects like hiss, hum and scratches. They also bring to mind the discombobulating and analogue sound of dub.
