Banksy released a new artwork over the weekend, inspired by the current wave of global protests following the brutal murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers. The painting depicts a vigil with a framed photograph, flowers and a candle, which is slowly setting fire to the American flag that hangs above the objects. The street artist accompanied the piece, with a short piece of text, which you can read below:

Showing his support for the Black Lives Matter movement, Banksy created what may be one of his strongest statements and works to date.
