Banksy Triptych Sells at Auction for Charity

A Banksy triptych has been auctioned at Sothebys in London, raising £2.2 million for the BASR hospital in Bethlehem. Read on to find out more...

At the Rembrandt to Richter auction on the evening of 28 July at Sotheby's in London, the infamous street artist Banksy entered a triptych entitled Mediterranean Sea View, 2017.With an estimated value of £800,000 to £1.2 million, the final figure was £2.2 million, all of which will be donated to aid an acute stroke unit and buying children's rehabilitation equipment for the BASR hospital in Bethlehem.
