The mural portrays a woman wielding a pressure washer, her gaze fixed upon a cascade of green paint adorning the wall of a residential block. Positioned strategically in front of the artwork is a pruned tree, and viewed head-on, the green paint gives the illusion of the tree's foliage.

Confirmation of Banksy's authorship came through the artist's Instagram page on March 18th. Interpretations of its meaning vary among residents, with some suggesting it speaks to the diminishing presence of nature in urban landscapes and emphasises the value of green spaces. Others speculate it may carry a subtle critique of "greenwashing" – the deceptive practice of presenting environmentally harmful activities as eco-friendly.

Notably, the chosen shade of green mirrors that of Islington Council signage, lending a poignant synchronicity to its unveiling on St. Patrick's Day.

This latest mural follows Banksy's previous work in December, where he portrayed military drones on a stop sign in Peckham, south London. However, the fleeting nature of street art was evident once again when the piece was swiftly removed mere moments after its authenticity was confirmed on social media, reportedly by an individual armed with bolt cutters.
